She has experience as a project coordinator in the development department for the Franciscan Hospital for Children, providing marketing strategies and writing for the hospital's online newsletter, coordinating fundraising activities, and assisting with hospital tours for donors, sports celebrities, and the media. Kathleen's political consulting services have resulted in overwhelming successful campaigns, including a State Representative campaign, a heated Needham School Committee race, and a program to develop a new 6th Grade Center through a major public school awareness campaign. She ran and won her own political race and was elected to Needham Town Meeting.
Kathleen began her career in PR as an Associate of Corporate Ink Public Relations firm, serving over a dozen clients in the high-tech industry. She was responsible for naming a client's product, and led a successful campaign to launch its new software. Utilizing her strong writing skills and proven ability to pitch stories, Kathleen quickly develops and cultivates relationships with journalists and achieves widespread visibility in the press for her clients.
She serves on the board of Art In Giving, a non-profit gift recognition organization benefiting pediatric cancer research, providing marketing and business development strategies.
Kathleen is a graduate of Emerson College where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, with a concentration minor in Public Relations and Marketing. She also serves on the board of Emerson Alumni group. She continues her education in new media and social media strategies through webinars and attending various seminars at local institutions.
She was born and raised in Newton and now resides in Needham with her two children.
